RE: HELP!!!!!

HappiJac
Most likely you have a happijac brand lift. Go to the above page for the user manual which has a trouble shooting section.

RE: Flush King..How Many Times Until Tank Is Clean?

I quit using my flush king early last season. It would take forever to get the tank to run clean especially since my black is 60 gallons.
Now I use a $10 wand from walmart. So much faster.

RE: Rage'n Radio Receiver Wiring Question

Rats nest is an understatement.
If you get really stuck you are more than welcome to look at mine. I keep it at a storage facility at 99th ave & peoria. Or next time I pick it up I can take a few pics for you.

RE: Ea-Z-Lift problem

I have the same brand wd hitch and looked for another type of pin that was more secure but never did find anything. The hole in the bracket is too small of a diameter for anything I could find. I thought about drilling it out a little bigger to accept a different style but haven't gotten around to it.

RE: Columbia Cougar Flats

We have this tent but only used it a few times before upgrading to a trailer...
It performed beautifully in one of the worst rain storms I've been in. I'm 6'3" and don't recall having any height issues. Easy to set up compared to some of the other ones we tried before settling on it. Good ventilation, plenty of room and overall good fit & finish.
Nothing but positive to say about it other than what the above poster mentioned on the storage bag being a bit small... not a real problem though.

RE: Black Water Tank Doesn't Drain Well?

Do you have any idea what the chances are of that piece actually coming out???? It is near impossible!
Well, now that you say that it may still be in there!
I always thought the piece I saw floating around in the tank was black (the same color as my holding tanks). But the piece that was lodged in the elbow was a milky opaque-like color... sort of the color you find on a coffee can or pringles can. I always assumed that I must have been mistaken of the color when looking down the toilet. Perhaps not.

RE: Black Water Tank Doesn't Drain Well?

Same as MoogRat.
After one the first few trips in our trailer, I was filling my black tank via a flush king. I was looking down the toilet with a flashlight(dont ask why) and noticed a roughly 4" circular piece of plastic float by. This was obviously the cutout piece when the factory did the plumbing.
A few trips later when flushing, this piece actually came out and lodged itself in a clear elbow attachment I was using.
Could be your problem.

RE: BAL Tire Locking Chock

I have a very heavy trailer and I dry camp offroad in very uneven terrain. The BAL chocks made a big difference for me. I've had them for 2 years and they perform/look like new.

RE: Anyone know anything about these two Coleman grills?

I have a Coleman Roadtrip and a Weber Q.
No comparison on any level... the Q is far superior.

RE: Arizona Off-Roaders Kill Their Own Area

just maybe we will give someone else the idea and it will grow.
Bingo!
About the best thing any of us can do as individuals is lead by example. Show others the right thing to do is to stay on trails and pick up after yourself... and then some.

RE: Any places to ride near Dateland or Aztec, Az???

My friends and I are planning a trip on some Jeep trail east of Yuma called the "Diablo Trail".
If you are talking about El Camino del Diablo you need permits to ride there.

RE: Need help picking a GPS

Another vote for the Garmin 60CSX. I did plenty of research and it seems to be the best for outdoors use. I recently upgraded to this from an older Garmin unit and could not be happier.
Best price I found was though amazon.com
I also recommend buying the map software on DVD rather than the 'plug & play' micro sd cards. Someone told me to do the opposite and now I can't load both street maps and topo at the same time. I have to have one or the other in the unit.

RE: Portable heater recommendation

This past weekend, I used my Mr Buddy (the smaller of the two available) in my 25' TH in temps that got down in the 30's... it heated the trailer just fine.

RE: Portable heater recommendation

I checked out the buddy and big buddy, but whats with the elevation restriction?
I'll be riding at high elevations 6,000 to 8,000 feet.
I tried to use mine once at 7500ft and it would light but then go out shortly afterwards.
I'll be using mine this weekend at 6200ft... hope it works.
I believe the elevation restriction has to do with the low oxygen detection.

RE: Arizona Riding

Florence Junction (where Box Canyon is) will have more than enough trails to keep you busy. Cool area.
Cottonwood/Deadhorse... centrally located to lots of stuff. Just depends what type of thing you are looking for.
